Hijab

I’m going to be talking about Hijab today, because it’s an important topic and should be discussed regardless of the people opposing the concept of covering up.
Wearing Hijab is not an easy thing to do, it changes your whole style of dressing and it’s difficult to wear and stick to especially during summer, but most women don’t think about the fact that the harder the thing you do for Allah the more you get rewarded for it. Imagine how many good deeds you get going to school/college/work wearing hijab in a hot weather. It helps keep you away from bad things by remembering why you wear hijab and it also keeps the majority of people with bad influence away from you. You shouldn’t be upset if people choose not to be friends with you cause you’re following Allah and want to stop doing bad things, it just shows that they care less about you and don’t want what’s in your interest.
Hijab is a way of pleasing Allah and still being rewarded for it. It’s Allah’s protection of your natural beauty. It simply shows that you are too precious to be on display for every man to see. It preserves your chastity and purifies your heart and mind through guiding you on the right path. You beautify your inner and outer self by wearing it and it defines your femininity by wearing it. It’s Allah’s way of making you respected in the eyes of others and at the same time in your own eyes. It highers your dignity and puts you on a higher level than other Muslim women. I myself when I look at a girl wearing hijab I lower my gaze because I see that she respects herself and so should I, but when a Muslim women isn’t wearing hijab it brings out a mans inner devil “shay6an” because he simply can’t control his nature. Women can’t blame men for looking at them when they walk around not wearing decent clothes because they’re literally asking for it. You can’t throw a predator a prey and expect him to lay there still with no action. When you wear hijab I assure you that most men will lower their gaze and respect you, except a few which are naturally ill. They will also avoid talking to you in a sensual way and therefore you have prevented yourself and himself from doing wrong just by wearing it.
Hijab is not simply covering your hair only, it’s covering your whole body and soul from others, it’s not just something you do, but hijab becomes who you are. When wearing hijab Allah will bless you with a respectful husband that follows Allah. No man that doesn’t follow Allah properly will aim so high for a women of such great moral and ethical standards, it shows what family you come from and how you have been brought up. It unifies Muslim women as one and help make them equal through wearing the same thing. The Quran says {And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands’ fathers, their sons…}. Some women say they are not convinced with the necessity of hijab and that it’s not a “fard”, yes you are convinced if you believe in Allah and his last of Messengers because this is what he ordered.
Let’s talk about the negative things of not wearing hijab. A woman once came to Omar Ibn Alkhattab and told him she wants to commit zinna so he told her to take 7 hairs out of her scarf and put them back in is the same punishment as zinna. First of all every hair a man see’s will be an extra “jamra” from hell “Jahannam” that you will be burned with, imagine how many hairs you have and how many men see you per day. If you don’t wear hijab, but don’t do anything else wrong don’t forget that if a man on the street see’s you and gets attracted to you that you will get sins to everything his does after you attracting him, including “zinna”. You didn’t even take part in zinna, but you will get the bad deeds for it since you are the one who made him think about it at first. If you wear decent hijab and still a man does that then only he will be punished for his sick mind. Remember that hell is hotter than any day you refuse to wear hijab on. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “There are two types of the people of Hell that I have not seen yet: men with whips like the tails of cattle, with which they strike the people, and women who are clothed yet naked, walking with an enticing gait, with something on their heads that looks like the humps of camels, leaning to one side. They will never enter Paradise or even smell its fragrance, although its fragrance can be detected from such and such a distance.”  The prophet himself warned that women who don’t wear hijab won’t enter Paradise showing what a major sin this is and the hadeeth is not weak but it is  absolutely true. “Saheeh” Remember that a true Muslim man will never consider marrying a girl that does not wear hijab and so don’t say you will wear hijab after marriage because then who marries you will only marry you for looks and not caring about your best interest which is pleasing Allah. “They will long to get out of the Fire, but never will they get out therefrom; and theirs will be a lasting torment” Nevertheless there are some people who might not appear to be the best of Muslims, but their struggle to gain the love of Allah is far greater than ones who appear to be the best of Muslims inpublic so complete your deen with hijab other so you can be a good Muslim both by heart and appearance..
Pro’s of wearing hijab:
1.     Because the Qur’an and Sunnah states so. Allah ordered us to wear the hijab and cover up to protect ourselves so we get the proper respect we deserve and not be treated like we are a piece of meat.
2.     American soldiers walk around the city with their army uniforms with pride. Well I want to walk with the uniform that Allah (swt) has assigned to me with pride
3.     You get a lot of respect in the hijab from all your brothers and sisters and other people, than you did before your hijabi days
4.     You can wear whatever you like under the abayah, light and cool dresses are good.
5.     Despite that this world has hot weather, HELL IS HOTTER, so you rather suffer a bit on this world than the Hereafter.
6.     No bad hair days to worry about.
7.      People know that you’re a Muslim. You can distinguish yourself in this society. This is not in order to show off, but you can influence other Muslim women to do it and can attract good Muslim women to become your friend and also catch the attention of a pious Muslim man to come and ask for your hand in marriage.
8.  Only the people you want to see your body, will see it…not every wierdo walking on the street.
9.  Your skin is protected under the abayah
10.  You won’t have to waste time in the morning deciding on the perfect outfit in the morning, if you wear jilbab.
11. Because you know your beautiful and you can keep all that beauty to yourself. You are like a diamond. Diamonds are only shown to special and specific people. It is not something to be worn around at all times and shown to everybody no matter who they are.
12 No one dares to mess with a hijabi sis while taking a walk.
13You will feel closeness to every muhajabah you see on the road and to every Muslim you ever encounter
14The inner feeling of peace you get when you wear it
15Little girls look up to you, and want to be like you.
16. When guys see you, they respect you, they cross the street so they don’t pass by you and offend you.
17. Because most pious brothers WON’T EVEN CONSIDER marriage with a non-hijabi (caution: your intention for wearing hijab should still be to observe the command of Allah)
18. Because there’s more freedom in deciding who gets to see you rather than having anyone look at you and your beauty.
19. People treat you for your mind not your body. In the sense that you succeed in things (ie. job because of your performance and intelligence and not because how short your mini skirt is.
20. Because Muslims are required to practice Islam in every aspect of your life including everyone, not just nuns like in Christianity or only on Saturday for Jews, or only Sunday for Catholics all of whom cover on those days. Muslimahs should respect God at all times.
21Beauty fades eventually, and with hijab people learn to love your inner beauty without the hinderness of your outer beauty.
22Your husband and loved ones learn to appreciate your beauty both outside and in more, and these tend to be the most important people in your life of which you grace those special people with your gifts from Allah.

"Prayer", Salah"

Alsalamu 3leikom,
Thought I might start with this topic because it's the first thing asked after you lie down in your grave and on the day of judgment 'Yom alqiyama'. Prayer "Salaah" is our only connection to Allah, the only place where we can talk to Allah when fully submitted.

Nowadays people consider not praying as something normal and that one day they will start praying. But what if you don't live to the day where you say you'll start praying? What if you die today before tomorrow and go meet Allah with an empty plate? More bad deeds than good. As Muslims we all appreciate the fact that we eventually go to heaven "Jannah". Eventually is not enough tho, one day in hell "Jahannam" is worth 50,000 earth years, what if you're only condemned in hell for one day and one day only. We can't bare Earth's fire for 50,000 years nevertheless the fire of hell "Jahannam. The fact that every Muslim eventually goes to heaven for people who don't pray is that this fact doesn't apply to them. Muslims who don't pray are considered non-muslims and should be jailed and asked to pray and repent. If they don't apply to what they're told to do then they should be executed. You didn't think it was this big did you? Would you like the fact that you're on the same level of "kufr" as the ones who the prophet fought and had killed after they refused to become Muslims?

I'm sure many of you don't want that and didn't know that not praying was this huge. Start praying today before tomorrow because you never know when your soul will be caught and you will be judged on the last things you have done so be sure to make duaa  the Angel of death catches your soul while you're doing something good "7usn El-khatima". Even for those who pray they have to be focused on their prayers and not pray in a hurry"الذين هم عن صلاتهم ساهون". Their is a special valley called Saqar for those who don't pray AND those who aren't assured in their prayers and just pray to be over with a duty. It's a valley full of blazing flames burning the faces of those who did not believw truly. The prophet(PBUH) used to ask Bilal ibn Rabah to call for the Prayer "Salaah" so they would be relieved with it and not from it. A muslim man said he started submitting to his prayers and connecting to Allah after twenty whole years of praying. A man once came to the mosque the prophet was staying in and prayed in a hurry, but the prophet sent him back and told him to pray again because he did not pray. Never give up and always ask Allah to put faith and serenity in your heart so you can pray with peace unaware of this worthless world.

This won't be the last time I talk about this issue, but I will once I learn more about it Inshaa Allah. If you don't pray then start praying now and not later and if you already do then go to youtube.com and learn how to pray according to Sunnah so your prayers would be accepted.

Thank you.
